ENGL111 Online Advice

I have been looking into going back to school this summer after taking two semesters off. I am working two jobs, I'm working as a Pilates instructor and a server. I already have a bit much on my plate, but it's nothing I can't tolerate. I've gotten used to the workload and I have been saving a lot of money so I don't want to decrease my workload much.

Looking into my academic plan, I found that it's time for me to take an English course. I have been intimidated by English courses because I hear horror stories about how much work they are. Unfortunately I need the credit, so I figured I would try and take ENGL111 online alone this summer.

My question is: is this class really as horrid as everyone claims? And what professors should I try to avoid? What professors should I hope for? Any tips or tricks for surviving? Or should I take a different class entirely?

LEGS 101

Has anyone taken this course?

I took 2 semesters off of school to work, save money, and reevaluate my educational goals. I am looking into taking Introduction to Legal Studies online this summer. I am hesitating to get back into school because I am currently working two jobs, serving and instructing pilates. Not only will I be working, I want to be able to enjoy summer. I have tickets to Lollapalooza and a short family vacation planned during the 8 week semester.

Typically in the summer I take two classes. If I only take one, I figure the workload will be lighter and more manageable alongside my current obligations. I haven't taken a course since last summer so I am nervous to jump back in.

Is this an okay class to take as someone looking to get back into school? Or should I look into other classes, or wait for the fall semester to jump back in?
