Hello everyone, I’ve now received the i5 eDrive40 with the M Sport Pro package. This includes, among other things, the M suspension. I have to admit that the suspension is unfortunately too stiff for my liking. You really feel almost every groove in the road, and it’s not particularly comfortable. Have you had the same experience with it? I’m quite frustrated about this at the moment, so I would have preferred the standard suspension instead. I have 20-inch wheels… is there a way to get a smoother ride? I’d be happy to hear constructive suggestions.

I’ll be taking delivery of my i5 eDrive40 soon. I’m really looking forward to the car, but after doing a lot of research, I realized that a couple of other options might have been the better choice.
I ordered pretty much every package except the Adaptive Suspension Professional. That’s the one option I honestly didn’t pay much attention to at the time. My car has the M Sport suspension instead.
Is the lack of rear-wheel steering and the firmer M Sport suspension really a dealbreaker? Does anyone here have the M Sport suspension on their i5?
I’d really appreciate some honest feedback. I’ve never driven a car like this before, so I don’t have any point of reference.

Hey, I ordered a BMW i5 eDrive40 — arriving next week. I wasn’t really aware of how relevant integral active steering actually is as a feature. Is it really that significant? I was genuinely excited about the car, but now I’m starting to feel annoyed about it. Worried the overall experience won’t live up to expectations. Has anyone had hands-on experience they can share?
