Pennsylvania Trip

Considering spending the first week of February in PA. Need recommendations on where to stay/visit and advice!

First week of February, heavily considering driving up there to save cost on flights/food/not having to rent a car. This part is going to sound crazy but hear me out- we plan to be in Pittsburgh the 2nd and Philadelphia on the 3rd for hockey games. Driving is no issue for us- do we stay central between the two the whole time? Stay close to Pittsburg from like the 30th-3rd and spend the 3rd~6th closer to Philly?

Hershey Park is likely going to happen, maybe some museums but any must do’s in the entire state that would sway where I should stay?

I know very little about the state, but I prefer to travel for nature. Are there any beautiful mountains/foresty areas we should look to rent a cabin?

Is this the absolute worst time of year to visit and no country side would be worth seeing?

I’m doing a lot of research online, but any on the ground info from Pennsylvanians would be awesome! Thank you
