About three years ago, I bought my girlfriend a pair of Bose NC700s, but unfortunately they died a few months ago. They were already out of warranty, so Bose wasn’t able to help much.

I’d like to get her a new pair for our anniversary, but I’m wondering whether I should stick with Bose or look at another brand.

Would you say I just got unlucky with the NC700s, or is there a brand you’d particularly trust for build quality and longevity?

I’m mainly looking for a reliable brand, but if you have any specific recommendations for comfortable over-ear headphones with Bluetooth and ANC, I’d be happy to hear them.
