my weird side control escape

I have a side control escape that not many other people seem to do and I'm using it a lot. Let's say they are in that 'judo side control' like kesa gatame but with the underhook. I push on their far arm, bring my legs up and hook the arm with my leg, holding the wrist to keep it. This becomes a powerful lever and I can use it to sit up and take top with their arm trapped in a crucifix type position. I'm good enough at it now that it can turn into a more fluid scenario where I control that far arm wherever they go, get my legs and hips high on the far side and keep trying to guide the arm so i can get a leg hooked round it. I never see anyone else doing this and think it's quite attribute dependent - I'm flexible with long legs! Does anyone vaguely recognise this and have any tips for instructionals that could help me develop it further?

longtime no gi guy starting gi - tips?

Like the title says. I've been training no gi only quite a few years, going to give the gi a go. No gi is still the main goal so I want my gi training to be as useful for no gi as possible. Any little knowledge gems I should keep in mind as regards grips to look for, guards to focus on...whatever? Anyone done the same, how was it? Did you find it helped for no gi also like so many say?

use-case is gaming. located in ireland. started with the radeon 9070xt as this seemed the best value high-end gpu and built around that. went with the 9800x3d cpu as it's available very cheaply right now at onbuy.com (as cheap as the 7800x3d which was the other option). used pcpartpicker.

particularly interested in feedback on the motherboard, psu, monitor

purchase advice for amp/speakers

looking to treat myself to a dream hifi setup. really driven by looks/nostalgia for my childhood, looking for a very specific 70s look. budget around 10k, just because that's what i seem to need to spend to get the look. room is about 5m x 5m, one side of it semi-open leading into an open plan kitchen, hardwood floor, one wall is glass sliding door. sources will be turntable (teac tn 4d se, again i just really like the aesthetic) and streamer (looking at nad cs1 as i want to stream youtube with minimal fuss). i'm in europe.

my question is about amps and speakers. what's the best combo:

speakers: klh model 5, psb passif 50, pylon jade 30, klipsch heresy. looking for big box-style speakers with cream-coloured grilles or similar. ideally ones that sit directly on the floor like the klipsch

amps: yamaha as3200, unitra wsh805, luxman 505z. looking for silver amps with vu meters (sansui a40 is the ideal for the aesthetics).

i'm sure they will all sound very good, but what's the best amp/speakers combo here? im leaning towards the unitra and klh, would they be a good fit? are these roughly appropriate for room size/finishes? also any other suggestions with similar aesthetics. thanks!
