I don't feel like the camera is communicating with the phone accurately (android note 10+)

It connects, but I've changed the 3 films in the app, it does not reflect that on the camera (I assume the film names should change )

I've taken 39 photos on the camera, showing film remaining 36 shots... I've attempted to unload and reload a handful of times .

im super annoyed, please help.

Also, can someone explain to me how the strap is supposed to function? thanks
