Long Weekend camera strap gives the extra primary color pop to complement the shutter 🤗
I thought my viewfinder looked a little crooked but might just be me.. we'll see!

There’s just something about it. I haven’t used another camera since it arrived, the perfect everyday camera for summer.
I just got mine not long ago and took it for a spin today. This happens 2-3 times:
Camera shutter wont fire after winding. I dk what to do and just let it be. After a short while I heard the click sound and it fired randomly. Any idea what’s going on? Anyone else experienced this? I realise if I don’t wind fast enough this tends to happen.
But overall I like the vibes of this camera!
Hiked a peak in the Adirondacks and took my camera with me! Super awesome. I love it so much.
360° rockface peak + some tadpoles!
For the life of me and several members of family the screwdriver that came with the Rewindpix could not open the MicroSD card slot.
I got out a jewelers set which was smaller and it worked.
Disappointing that the one it came with is too big.
This is a bit of a heads up to others to get something smaller to swap out the card.
I think these were all with the GLDVIVID roll.
is there any one else in italy waiting for his RP?
Today I went out and experimented with my camera for the first time. Im still messing around with it, but I’m enjoying it so far.
Designed kid friendly sticker skin for my toddler. You'll need a paper cutter like cricut or cameo, I'm using cameo. Import last pic into your cutter software and set the width of the png to 107mm. I printed out on matte photo sticker paper, then used holographic laminate sheet, then cut. You can use my template to make your own designs, really easy to create new ones with AI.
Hi, we want to complete the fulfillment for Kickstarter backers as fast as possible and move on to customer service, more filters, fix UI/UX issues.
current ship status: 4800/7900 orders out.
In the past 1 week, we are expediting EU orders. A new rule just implemented in EU custom will delay the EU shipment if we are not shipping most of the EU orders out by the end of this week.
Backer in the rest of the countries, a bit patience, thanks. Will ship yours next week
I’ve had my Rewindpix for a few days now and it I had my expectations low, given this is a novelty camera, but first impressions are… pretty rough.
First, the good: I love the form factor, super lightweight. The feel of shooting and not being able to review the photos immediately is liberating. Connectivity is pretty easy and has been reliable. Transferring photos to phone is fast. The app is useable, nothing amazing but does the job. The film sims are neat and don’t look half bad.
Now, the bad: The viewfinder is dogshit and the frame lines are laughably inaccurate. It doesn’t even matter that they’re barely visible in standard lighting conditions because they’re not anywhere close to representing the framing, either through centre position or through overall FOV. It’s almost comical how inaccurate they are. And setting aside the frame lines, the focal length of the lens isn’t close enough matched with the viewfinder that you can even comfortably ballpark it from just the coverage of the viewfinder itself. I’ve used a bunch of rangefinders over the years, so I’m quite used to having an offset viewfinder and I wasn’t expecting miracles given the price point, but you may as well not even look through the viewfinder for how inaccurate it is. Do not buy this camera if you have even the slightest care for how your photos are composed, it’ll just be an exercise in continuous disappointment. I might try set up some reference shots just so people who are on the fence know what they’re in for if they take the plunge.
As for the QC, I’m already running into issues with the “film advance” wheel. It feels way too crunchy / coarse and extremely cheap. It also has a tendency to jam, which locks up the shutter button, so then you have to wiggle the wheel stiffly until it releases.
Metering is also an issue. I shot 36 photos on a walk this afternoon and about a quarter of them were unusably overexposed. I’d understand if the shooting conditions weren’t ideal or the type of light that would confuse your average meter, but it was almost perfect late afternoon light, not harsh, not dramatic light and shade, and there was no pattern as to which shots were overexposed or properly exposed.
I knew this was a gamble, and I wasn’t expecting the world based on the relatively reasonable price, but sadly this is barely even usable as a novelty.
Got my camera yesterday and over the course of a day the logo on front has degraded and I was able to rub an awful lot of it off with just one test wipe with my finger. Anyone else had this issue?
I decided to take my new camera out for a spin while on a trip with my family. Half of the pictures I took today looked solid green with slivers of what could've been photographed - and clearly different from the pitch black photos due to lens cap being left on. Having had this camera for a few days, it's the first time I've ever experienced this.
Are these just glitches I have to live with? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Noticed some of the guys feedback about viewfinder issues. I just bought this to mount on top in the coldshoe. Hope it makes taking photos easier. And it’s not expensive so can give it a go!
I was a very early backer and switched to become a backer of the aluminum, so I won't get mine for a while. I'm impressed with the color rendering of this camera from the example shots I've seen posted. However, what is concerning me is that in nearly every one of the shots I am noticing a general overall softness and/or lack of overall focus of really anything in the shot. I'm not a pixel peeper, but when you zoom in, nothing in any of the shits appears to be sharp and in focus. Everything in the frame seems to be just out of focus. Now, when the pics are viewed as small shits in Instagram or in a reddit post, you can't really tell. But, so far at least, it seems like they will lose clarity and fidelity if the size gets much larger than that. Or, am I simply seeing compressed Reddit examples? Can someone that's received one link to an uncompressed full shot or two so we can see the overall clarity and focus this thing is capable of? So far, color me concerned.
First off, I like the camera, it's fun, and it keeps me off my phone.
However, I am having issues with the viewfinder framing.
I know others have commented on this, but I wanted to create a post specifically for the viewfinder issue, so others could find it more easily.
I am having two issues with the viewfinder framing:
Have others had similar problems?
Does anyone have a work around to help frame images better?
Also, could this be a distance issue?
I'm wondering if the viewfinder frames correctly at infinity for instance?
Thank you in advance.
Paul
Tried a couple covers but was not a perfect fit so made one that was https://makerworld.com/models/2967764
I received my Rewindpix and was pretty excited to give it a couple of test snaps. However, it won't turn/stay on unless plugged in. It does as soon as I unplug it from the USB.
Anyone else encountering this problem?
I don't feel like the camera is communicating with the phone accurately (android note 10+)
It connects, but I've changed the 3 films in the app, it does not reflect that on the camera (I assume the film names should change )
I've taken 39 photos on the camera, showing film remaining 36 shots... I've attempted to unload and reload a handful of times .
im super annoyed, please help.
Also, can someone explain to me how the strap is supposed to function? thanks
