I've seen that I can get a camera second hand but am worried about missing out on the pro license for the app because at the moment I don't seem to be able to just buy a pro license - and I don't want to miss out on using the app for film simulations stuff.
Any thoughts?
Ive noticed how active the Devs seem to be here - so I wanted through my hat in with a couple of suggestions that id love to see.
With the addition of some awesome film simulations in New Snapseed. I'd love to see the old school time stamping as an option? Little glowing date stamp on the corner.
And then the only other thought is faux light leaks. I currently have to export from Snapseed to add them and would love to go on all in one app.
Following a recent trip to Billund, I was gutted that the 'I ❤️Billund' set (40507) wasn't in line with the other postcard style sets (eg. 40569) they've done, so I tried to make it myself in BLStudio.

Does communicator has e sim facility?
Yes, absolutely. Communicator has both physical nanosim, as well as eSIM, so you can use it in a dual sim capacity, or if you just prefer to use eSIM, you can do that too.

3. Will the Niagara Launcher be stock or special edition for clicks communicator?
We’re collaborating with Niagara on a custom version of the Niagara Launcher that is built specifically for Clicks, so of course it's going to be optimised for the display, but it's also going to have shortcuts that work with the keyboard and also tie into the signal light.
It's going to include all of the premium features at no cost to Clicks Communicator customers and there's some other special things that we're working on too, that will only be available with Communicator.
So yeah, that will be a special edition version of Niagara for Communicator and we're working on that with them very closely now and looking to be able to show that off sometime in August.

When will we get to see the touch sensitive keyboard on the communicator in action?
I'm really excited to show off the touch sensitive keyboard. That functionality will be coming online with the next round of samples that are coming very shortly, and so you can expect to see these types of features showcased in the videos that we will be creating sometime in August.

Will all of the back plates have MagSafe? Or only specific ones? Or none at all?
Short answer is; Yes. All of the back covers are going to have Qi2/Magsafe wireless charging built-in. The coil is built into the back cover itself, so it's very close to the surface, and then there's a contact point that connects to the body or the mid frame of Communicator that transfers that wireless charging into the battery.
So yes, absolutely. They're all going to have Magsafe or Qi2 wireless charging built in.

Are you planning on putting out a video about how the communicator is your sole device?
Yes, absolutely. 1000% going to make a video showing Communicator as a solo daily driver, and we know there are a lot of people who want to use it that way, and that's amazing, that's totally cool.
Look, when I put out that video earlier this week showing Communicator alongside an iPhone, all we were trying to do is show that it's a product that can be used in lots of different ways, and we know there are a large number of people who want to use it as a purpose built communication tool alongside a flagship, and so we were trying to show that that is one option.
It's not the only option, we're not trying to dictate exactly how you're supposed to use this. It's going to fit into different people's lives in many different ways, and so you can expect to see a variety of those different options showcased over the weeks and months to come, as the product continues to mature, and we can show everything that it can do. So, yes, we're going to have that video for you as soon as we can.

How does the kill switch work on the Communicator doe it just kill the audio ring tone etc.
Yes, so the killswitch is something we've been working on a lot recently. it's a 2 position switch, and there's going to be a settings menu with a whole bunch of options for essentially 2 state features or functions that you can connect to the kill switch.
So some of the ones that we currently have working in the software build is; like moving in and out of Airplane mode, in and out of DND mode mode, turning on and off wireless hotspot. What else has in there right now? Oh, turning the signal light on and off, turning the flashlight on and off. There's a pretty lengthy list of things that you can configure to work with the kill switch. So if you have specific ideas of the types of things that you'd like to see the kill switch control drop a comment, and we'll add it to the list.

Is there a feature that you really appreciate that you think goes under appreciated or unnoticed
I think this is the industrial design, overall, the form factor the feel of it, we're not trying to build the smallest QWERTY phone or the thinnest QWERTY phone, we're trying to build the one that is ultimately the most optimal and delivers the best communication experience in your hand, so it's all the little design details like; the way that the back cover is angled, creating the perfect balance, and that rests in your fingers in the right way, or the way that the sides of the back are contoured, just making it really delightful to hold in your hand or little things like the link and the curvature of chin beneath the bottom row of keys that give your thumb something to rest on, put the keys in the right position for typing and give you a more confident pinch point for holding the phone. Those are like really small, but super important details to making the optimal phone for communication.

When will I get my order for Batch 2? By August 14th or when?

We just shared some updates yesterday (Thursday 30th). We've reached 75% of our batch 1 orders that have been fulfilled. All of batch 1 is expected to be fulfilled by August 7th or August 10th, depending on whether you're in the US or international. And then as for people who are in batch 2 (which is people who bought after February 9th) all of that manufacturing is on track to be completed by August 14th and they'll be shipped out immediately as they're finished.
So everything is on track to effectively be completely fulfilled by the end of August. I know that was a lot of dates. So I'm going to put a link to a recent blog post that we shared, that has all of that laid out to make it really clear and really easy to follow along.

Will it have android auto enabled?
Yes, Android Auto works with Communicator, it works now with the current hardware and current software builds, I'm using it on my, you know, drives into Toronto and even just locally around Waterloo to test out the functionality, so maybe I'll try to create a video showing how that all works, but it's just as you would expect it to work on any Android phone. I'm using it for both navigation, as well as for streaming music off of Spotify.

How can I update my address for my pre-order?
Really great question, I want to talk to this.
In September, we're going to be inviting reservation holders to complete their order, and at that time, you will choose your Communicator colour, your keyboard layout, your back covers, any accessories you want to add.
And during that process, you will confirm your shipping address (and pay a balance, if you have a balance outstanding.) And then, once you've done that, you'll have a place that you can go into and check status for your order, as well as make any changes to your shipping details or contact information through essentially a magic link that you can go back to at any time.
So that's coming in September, the team's working on it now. It's looking really good, and that's how you'll be able to update your information and also make changes to your order, up until the point that we have to lock it down when we’re ready to ship.

So I'm new to Tomodachi Life with LTD, and I saw the concerns around 70 Miis.
I'm on 42...and I'm struggling to maintain their relationships. I'm fairly sure my first Mii hasn't met a BUNCH of them. How did you guys maintain 100 on the DS?
