Singapore airlines changed our seats
Hey guys, so I am travelling from Melbourne --> Singapore. Singapore --> Paris. Then return is Paris --> Singapore. Singapore --> Melbourne.
I am travelling with my partner, and we booked separetly so we could use our student discount. We also booked 3 months ago, and the flight is in July. Our original booking shows different seats (the ones we had picked), economy, and seated together on next to the window for all flights. However, Im not sure when, but we just checked the managing booking on the official singapore website, and our seats had changed for our flight from Melbourne --> Singapore, and Singapore --> Melbourne. We are now rows apart, and no longer on the side - in the middle aisle.
We also paid an extra 400 AUD each for the benefits for changing flights etc. And booked through the official singapore airlines website.
Checking now, the flight is almost fully booked and all the side seats are taken, and there are no avaliable seats together (like two seats in a row..), and there is only <5 left in economy, in the middle aisle.
Honestly, I am quite mad.. given we booked ages ago, and there was no notice. We are trying to contact them to put us together for seats. This is my first time flying without parents, and also have a decent fear of flying hah. I also have severe anaphalaxysis to nuts and allergies to seafood, so sitting next to my partner (who would also avoid them for my sake), was also somewhat of a safety precaution. Not sure what to do, and whether theyll change it back - given everything is almost fully booked :/
