I had surgery on 8/10 and woke up this morning by in excruciating pain. I’ve been taking Tylenol and oxy as prescribed but the pain is so unbearable this morning. Can anyone provide me some hope that it gets better from here. I know this will take time to heal and nothing happens overnight but I’m just hoping that this is close to the peak of the pain and it will start to get better from here.
I have an orientation for surgery in June 24th. My current weight is 254lbs. I have been going to the gym consistently trying to burn fat and gain strength and tone muscles.
Can some of you provide insight into how much muscle mass was lost post-op that? I’m hoping to not lose so much gym progress with surgery but I am a little worried because I do feel strong now that I’ve been going to the gym..
