New to the group. I am taking Amitrotyline for a chronic cough. It has worked wonders. I am on the 20mg. I know my dr doesn’t want me on this long term. But stupid question…. How are you all cutting your pills to go from 20 to 15 to 10? My pills are soo tiny I can’t see anyway of cutting them.
5 weeks out and I wish I never got the Botox. Bloating was my main symptom. Bloating is gone, but I still can’t eat. I choke everyday and if I’m choking while eating, it all comes up. I have a neurological cough, which was under control before Botox. Now it’s back with vengeance. I cough 24/7 and half the time my throat closes up. I really hate my life right now and am really praying the Botox wears off soon and I’m back to the way I was.Oh, and I am soo winded. I can’t have a conversation without having to catch my breath.
Has any one experienced increased throat gurgles or “frog croaking” during recovery? I’m 4 weeks out and feel like mine is worse than before Botox. Hoping this is temporary.
Any one have at least one a day? I am 11 days post Botox and have them EVERY day!!! I just had one that lasted over a minute and scary as hell. I’m kind of wishing I didn’t get the Botox because this is worse than any symptom I have ever had! I’m soo sad and scared this is my new normal.
Throat spasms. I know people have said they had one or two, but lucky me has had multiple, for days. On day 5 from Botox injection and Thursday and Friday I had at least 5 a day. They are starting to subside, but I still get it. If it’s not a spasm it just hard to breath. Did go to er on Friday, but nothing they can do. Am I just the lucky one, had this happened to anyone else?
Day three of Botox treatment and I have at least 4 spasms a day. Most at night. I can’t take this. Help
3 days post Botox and the mucus in my throat is my worst symptom right now. Is this a normal side effect? I feel like I have a wad of mucus just sitting there.
If you suffered with acid reflux or lpr before Botox, how was it after Botox? Better, worse, manageable? I am scheduled next Tuesday but so nervous it will make my gerd symptoms worse.
