Chaos or Astra rules?

Working on my TraitorGuard guard, it seems like most people are using the Astra Militarum rules to get all the cool imperial stuff like artillery, tanks etc.

Is it crazy to build my list with the Chaos rules?

This is my current 750pt list based on what I have built:

Char1: 2x Traitor Enforcer (55 pts)

• 1x Traitor Enforcer: Warlord, Bolt pistol, Power fist

• 1x Traitor Ogryn: Ogryn weapons

10x Traitor Guardsmen Squad (70 pts)

• 9x Guardsman

7 with Close combat weapon, Lasgun

1 with Close combat weapon, Flamer

1 with Close combat weapon, Plasma gun

• 1x Traitor Sergeant: Chainsword, Corrupted pistol

10x Traitor Guardsmen Squad (70 pts)

• 9x Guardsman

7 with Close combat weapon, Lasgun

1 with Close combat weapon, Flamer

1 with Close combat weapon, Plasma gun

1x Chaos Rhino (75 pts): Armoured tracks, Combi-bolter, Havoc launcher

1x Chaos Predator Annihilator (135 pts): Armoured tracks, Havoc launcher, Predator twin lascannon, Combi-bolter, 2x Lascannon

1x Helbrute (130 pts): Close combat weapon, Heavy flamer, Helbrute fist, Helbrute plasma cannon
