A year of persistent green/yellow discharge, doctors say it’s BV/Yeast but meds don't work. Paranoid it’s an STD. Please help.
Why is my discharge like this? So I've had this issue for a year now. The unusal green discharge severe itchiness started when i was a virgin. I went to the doc and they gave metrodinozal and i can say it worked kinda because the color and itchiness was going away my discharge color became really pale yellow after using it almost looking normal but i guess it was not enough?
After it became the same yellow color i went to the doctor but my onlie issue was the color, and still is. Theres no itchiness smell or anything. And they have given me just a yeast med. The colos has not changed at all. After a while i had my first boyfriend. And we did not use any protection and there were no complicstions for him or me other than the color of my discharge. We broke up after a while and i was going to gynecologists still and they have always only given me yeast meds again and again.
Fast forward to now i had a new bf and we never did it without condoms and i was still seeing docs trying to find out anything. From my researchs i thought this was BV so i was trying to take probiotics/prebiotics cuz no doc was telling me it was BV. And since BV isn't a STD i thought it was okay for us to keep javing sex. And we were using condoms too. But I started to develope UTI as well as my partner so we became anxious and went tp see a doc since he was very woried he has health anxiety.
I went to my doc told all the things and that my bf was having symptoms of UTI too so i was very worried abt std. but she just gave me a metrodinozal and a uti med and told me it was BV and that i just have UTI and probably he just has UTI too. My bfs doc gave him doxycyline. But i was really worried i used metrodinozal and my discharge became lighter, from green to yellow again but this time the yellow tint was darker. And the uti med did not work but my boyfriends UTI was gpne after that.
I drank lots of water tried everything but my uti became worse but after a while my uti symptoms went away on its own but still i went to another doc and told everutjing as well as my concerns of std but yet again i was told that it was bv, i got the same meds again and still no change in color, went again said the same things again she then did culture and the results were fine so i went again she told me everything was fine and that "its normal and that you cant just make your discharge disappear. If there were anything wrong i know you are worried since your bf took doxycyline you think its something different it would have been shown in the culture test if that was the case start taking boric acid" but that test was just a culture and not an std test 😭 i got the boric acid kept having probiotic, none got better.
Went to another doc again cuz im frustrated. She told me that green discharge is trich (used trich meds before ornidozale)and just gave metrodinozale and doxycyline now i finished that and nothing has changed. My discharge comes out white looking but in my underwear/toilet paper it looks like how it is in the pics. Like it always stains green!! This is fucking me up i became so paranoid of my health AND my bfs health. I feel so guilty still cuz what if this is std??? Everytime even if he just coughs i feel like its because of me this is really making me live in misery someone help me out please.
