I honestly never really liked Gabriella in the books either but in a recent interview Hannah talked about how much she cares for her. I don’t know how they will ever redeem her but we shall see..

Is just saw this on instagram and my mind is blown- the scene where Niki confronts Lestat juxtaposed with Louis begging Lestat to cut off his hand - it’s almost matched frame by frame..

It gave me a new insight into why Lestat was so willing to turn Claudia if only to prevent Louis going mad like Niki

Ok so this season they make it seem like Armand just stalked Daniel without him knowing anything for the entire time. Armand tells this to Daniel and when talking to Louis he said „it gave me more time for my observations of Daniel.“

So do we now think that all the „clues“ we thought we had found in season 1 & 2 were only references to him being stalked? like the weird detailed understanding of Alice‘s state of mind when she refused his marriage proposal, the purple dress & holding her hand in Paris, the repeated prodding of Daniel’s memory like the blenders and trying to show how good he is with technology (electric mail box..), the prayer scene with getting Daniel to pinpoint where fake Rashid might be from, the fact that Daniel’s apartment had the cloud gate painted on the ceiling, Daniel’s laptop background looking like the villa of mysteries etc etc I’m sure I missed some.

Rolin said they will try to bring back young Daniel in season 4, so we will just see stalking?

Please people keep your tinfoil hats on with me and find reasons why past dm happened like we dreamed it had. 😅

In the scene where he takes the ashes to Akasha, and i guess feeds her, he puts them behind where her back is arched- i think? i am not getting what he is doing? am i not remembering something from the books?
He makes comments to enkil that he is touching akasha and if that makes him jealous, but i still don't get it. Is there a sexual aspect to this?

So in the scene at the record label party after Lestat tries to ruin Daniels pride and joy of having gotten one over Armand and Daniel comes in with the zinger of "When you dropped Louis for 5000 feet, that was for love right?" a clearly pissed Lestat turns to Andrew (the record label guy) and asks the pointed question: "Tell me, Andrew, Why do the undead need antibodies?" and Daniel says cut cut cut immediately. What is going on there? Does this have something to do with Daniels shaking hands? Is the parkinsons still there? What are your theories?

Regarding Lestats „This is not what I hunt“ to Daniel in episode 3: In the books one of the reason for the tour and for lestat going full rock star is to >!draw attention away from Louis to protect him from the old vampires going after him for outing himself in the book!<
Am I remembering this right? I feel like he doesn’t actually need to do that so much in the show because Louis can clearly protect himself. Do you think this remains a motivation in the show as well? Book readers please correct me if I am misremembering this.

So clearly the Talamasca were pressuring Daniel into orchestrating their meeting with Louis. What do they have on him? Why is he listening to them?

Edit: the reason I think they have something on him that they are pressuring him with is when he sees Rashid at the concert he seems annoyed and unhappy.
