Looking for stylish prescription frames online, anyone has experience with Firmoo?

I'm in the market for a new pair of prescription glasses and have been browsing online because the prices at local optical stores are way more than I want to spend. My biggest concern isn't finding the absolute cheapest option; it's finding something that's stylish, comfortable, and actually feels like it'll last.

I've noticed that online eyewear seems to have come a long way, but it's hard to know what the real experience is like just from reading reviews on a website.

If you've bought glasses online recently, where did you end up ordering from, and were you happy with your purchase? I'm especially interested in whether the frames looked as good in person as they did online, whether the prescription was accurate, and how they've held up with everyday use. I'd also love to know if the sizing was true to what you expected or if there were any surprises after they arrived.

I'm hoping to find something with a clean, modern style that doesn't look or feel cheap, without spending a small fortune. If you've had a great experience with an online retailer, I'd really appreciate hearing what made it worth recommending.

My puppy ate my glasses four days before a wedding

I know everyone says their puppy is smart but mine has approximately three brain cells. I left my glasses on the coffee table while getting ready for work, came back into the room and found my 6 months old golden retriever proudly carrying them. One arm completely destroyed, lenses scratched. Total disaster.

Normally it would've just been annoyed except I was supposed to attend my cousin's wedding in the coming weeks. I don't wear contacts cause they dry out my eyes and without glasses I can't even recognize people from across a room. My first reaction was panic because reaction was panic because replacing prescription glasses usually takes forever. Plus, I had spent $300 on this pair so the idea of immediately spending that much again on a replacement wasn't exactly appealing.

Anyway my puppy is currently sleeping peacefully while creating financial problems for the rest of the household. The worst part? He looked genuinely offended when I took the glasses away. Like somehow I was the unreasonable one.

What does my glasses collection say about my personality?

I see glasses less as a necessity and more as personality shifts I can wear on my face and with affordable online brands I am able to experiment with my look easily.

I have heard from quite a few people that your glasses say something about you before you even speak. So now I am wondering what my collection suggests about me?

Need a reliable and compact power bank

I have been hunting for a compact power bank for my best friend who loves to travel. I've myself gone through a few cheap ones that either overheat, charge super slow or die after a couple of months. After some digging, here are a few options that look good:

Anker PowerCore Slim 10K: I love its sleek design, seems a bit heavier but heard some excellent reviews.

INIU P50: I personally like this one as its slim and compact and good for the price.

Baseus Mini S 20W: Pretty compact with fast charging.

Romoss Sense 4 Mini: IMO its a great budget pick, but slightly thicker.

Now I can't decide which one makes a good and aesthetic gift. Has anyone here used these or found something better? Would love to hear your picks before I make the purchase.

What are good prescription glasses brands these days that offer lots of style options without being a total rip off?

I remember looking into this years ago and hearing how companies like luxottica basically own every big brand and just slap insane prices on them. So I looking for independent brands that make quality glasses at a reasonable price. Moscot is recommended a lot but they're even more expensive than luxottica owned brands and companies like zennie just seem like cheap crap you'd find at a servo. Brands like warby parker and gentle monster are popular for trendy styles without paying insane designer markups. Some other brands like firmoo are also gaining traction. They’ve got a huge variety of frames and people seem pretty happy with the prices.

What do you guys recommend? Do I have to fork out hundreds for quality glasses or are there some hidden gems out there that offer style, quality and affordability?

I am a mother of two, considering switching car to bike because of alot of reasons like the fuel prices, and also because of increasing expenses I think car it too costly for me.
I have done alot of my research and tried quite a few test ride. I even selected a bike (tarran l1) because I tested different models and but I was facing issues in keeping them balanced, so I think electric kickstand would make things easier.

Also I am gonna add dashcam and radar later on, so built in stuff in it will be kinda helpful. I dont have alot of exp riding so I feel like these features will help. But the thing is bike weighs about 37 kg, which will be heavier when carrying my kids.
I am only 5'0 tall, their recommend height is 155-195cm. I am not sure whether I can handle the bike.

I test rode bike and it felt fine during test but I am not sure how it will turn out for daily rides to school with kids? At the same time I dont wanna let go of it because they are running discount this month on their website and I don't wanna miss that. But height adaptability is kinda concerning. Could anyone give me some suggestions?
