Seeking out properties near BGC.
Please help. Pagod na akong mag isip :-/ I am a professional in my late 30s. I work in BGC and my partner works in a hybrid setup with office located in McKinley. My family’s home is in a province 1.5 to 2 hours away. We rent a 1Br condo in QC; pagbaba mo semento and kalye agad, no walkable areas or greenery nearby.
I make reasonable money with a surplus of around 100-200php per month, depending on the month, but I only started earning this much last year. For the last several years, I’ve felt very sad about the fact na in my late 30s naka rent pa rin ako. Not because there’s anything wrong with renting, but because I can’t even nail a picture to the wall without worrying about a security deposit. I would like to be able to feel like I live in a home.
With these needs in mind, an acquaintance offered us an 80+sqm property with 2 parking spots in a community near BGC in Taguig. Medyo traffic, but pagbaba ng condo may mga puno and amenities. Probably not a bad place to raise a child. Maaliwalas naman. It would be around 20-30 mins away from where my partner and I work. The condo was built in mga early 2010s so may kalumaan na but not bad naman. Maluwag din na 3Br. I think the size is perfect; the traffic in the area, yung kalumaan ng community, and its proximity to a faultline are making me hesitate.
I just need help - is this a bad deal for 10.5M php CGT included? Are we missing out on other good areas to look? We keep trying to look online but parang all the other properties masikip na, or di rin maganda yung area pagbaba (walang trees etc), or walang parking na kasama (we have two cars but could deal with 1 parking slot lang if necessary).
