For my fellow audiobook lovers: Storytel (with unlimited listening time) as Audible alternative
After constantly buying extra credits on Audible, I was looking for something cheaper and stumbled upon Storytel. It seems like their catalogue in the US is very limited, but in some EU countries they have tons of old and new romantasy and fantasy audiobooks, even some Audible exclusives. Not sure how this works, but The Will of the Many, for example, was available on Storytel for a limited period of time.
For me, it was 9.50€/month for the first 6 months and 19€ afterwards, with unlimited listening time. It’s great for long series, graphic audiobooks where every book is split into multiple parts, or trying out books that you wouldn’t purchase otherwise.
Since this might be a great option for potential ACOTAR rereads, I just wanted to share this with everyone who, like me, had never heard of Storytel before and has limited Libby access.
Edit: The language selection depends on the country of your subscription. In Germany I can choose from 11 languages but unlike the library, they have predominantly English audiobooks.
