Non-violent felony and getting hired as a new CDL-A driver

I’m currently working on getting my CDL-A and wanted to hear from drivers who have actually been in this situation.
I have a felony on my record, but it’s non-violent. I’m wondering how much of a problem this will be when I start applying for trucking jobs, especially since I’ll be a new CDL-A driver with no tractor-trailer experience.
Are there certain companies that are more willing to hire someone with a felony? Does it make a big difference how old the conviction is or what the charge was?
I’d especially like to hear from anyone with a felony who was able to get hired right out of CDL school. What company gave you your first chance?

Pay for CDL school myself or go with a paid-training company? Moving from California to Detroit

I’m trying to decide the best route to getting my Class A CDL and could really use some advice from experienced drivers.
I’m currently in California, but I plan on moving to Detroit. Right now I’m struggling with whether I should go with one of the trucking companies that provides paid CDL training and requires you to work for them afterward, or pay for CDL school myself so I’m not tied to a company.
One of my biggest concerns is what happens after I get my CDL. If I pay for school myself, I’ll have the CDL and the training from school, but no actual Class A work experience yet. I’m worried about moving to Detroit and having trouble finding a company willing to hire me as a brand-new driver.
Are there local trucking companies in Detroit or the surrounding area that hire new CDL-A graduates with no experience other than CDL school? I’d really like to know about local, dedicated, or home-daily opportunities if those are realistic for a new driver.
For anyone who started out in a similar situation, would you recommend paying for CDL school yourself for the freedom to choose a company, or going through a company-sponsored/paid training program to get that first year of experience?
Also, if you’re in the Detroit area, I’d appreciate names of companies that are known to give new drivers a chance.

Prime Trucking School Questions + Should I Give Up My Apartment?

I’m making the switch from being a bus operator to truck driving. I already have my Class B CDL with air brakes and I’m studying for my Class A permit. Since I already have the air brakes endorsement, do I only need to study the Combination Vehicles section, or should I review everything?
I’m planning to attend Prime Trucking School once they have a female trainer available.
My biggest question is: Should I give up my apartment before training so I can go straight on the road and save money, or should I keep it just in case trucking doesn’t work out?
For anyone who’s been through Prime:
How was the training?
How long did you wait for a female trainer?
Any advice or things you wish you knew before starting?
Also, are there any other company-sponsored CDL schools that pay for training and have a good reputation?

STOCKX SENT ME THE WRONG SHOES 🥹

I recently tried to purchase the Dunk Low Cactus Plant Flea Market Swamp Sponge Photo blue Sneakers for the Don Toliver concert next Saturday. I also ordered a jersey to go with these specific shoes. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong ones. How legit is the buyers promise? I don’t necessarily want a replacement maybe just a little bit of a refund, I attached a picture of the shoes that I ordered and also included the picture of the shoes that they sent me. Do you guys think that it goes with the jersey that I bought?
