The Recent NFA ruling and how it affects Maryland
With the GOA's win not being appealed (as far as I can tell for now), and with SBRs (maybe) soon to be off the NFA, how would " (2) the short–barreled shotgun or short–barreled rifle has been registered with the federal government in accordance with federal law." play into this? from here: (https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gps§ion=5-203&enactments=false)
Obviously this is a legal question, and whatever is posted is not legal advice and you are not my lawyer and dont be making SBRs just yet etc etc, but I am wondering if we have anything definitive saying that a *lack* of federal law means it is compliant with federal law as a type of vacuously true statement, which would make things legal.
