Any cosplayers in the area super excited about Peoria comic con this November?! How exciting!!

For some background….

I’ve been a manager for about a year now and was assistant manager for about a year prior, before was a barista trainer for an additional year etc! We have 100% customer connection score and CEA is a perfect score.

I’ve been a barista for quite a while. My main issue I’m running into currently is my employees are seeming burnt out. I understand right now is a hard time with Starbucks—there so many changes and change is really hard. I have a great relationship with all my baristas, but I can’t help but feel like the level of care is dropping. I am having to pick up a lot, which is causing myself to get burnt out.

They always get the days they request off, preferred schedules are always followed, and never scheduled more than 24 hours a week/no more than 18 for school peeps. I always make sure to celebrate wins, uplift them when closes are good, their customer service is good, or I get a customer comment (which is weekly). I work with them closely and walk them through training to make it more fun! We taste new drinks as a team and I coach when appropriate, never in front of customers or other employees! Our environment is friendly, I can just see things slipping. (I’ve seen it happen previously when I was a barista)

How can I improve employee morale? Am I worrying about nothing? :<

Anyone else think it’s Hypocritical that we are donating .25 for every blue coconut refresher ordered to water.org for fresh water when we JUST COLLAB WITH CHAT GPT.?

To add context I was given a communication about something secret coming out in the 11th. We should be receiving something this week. It was captioned with a soccer ball ⚽️!

My employees are lost as am I what it could be!! I’m impatient and hateee surprises!!
