Imarticus quoted £15 per exemption — now asking for £84. Scam or mistake?

Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with this situation and want to know if anyone else has faced something similar.

I’m a BMS Finance graduate. During my enrolment with Imarticus, my counsellor clearly knew that my degree was BMS. In fact, I have their own written communication confirming my qualification and that I was eligible for 3 ACCA exemptions — BT, MA & FA.

Now the same counsellor is saying that I told her I had B.Com.

I have the screenshots, so I’m honestly confused about how that is even being claimed.

Then there’s the bigger issue.

They quoted me £15 per ACCA exemption in writing.

I have now been told the actual exemption fee is £84 per paper, so £252 for my 3 exemptions.

I understand that ACCA's current fee may be £84. That's not really my point.

My point is: why was I told £15 in writing before I paid?

I’ve already paid ₹10,000 as registration, and I also have a ₹25,000 loan sanctioned for the course.

I was also told by someone who claimed to have an ACCA connection and knowledge of the Imarticus process that this kind of thing happens with students and that they would raise a complaint through the ACCA portal. I haven't independently verified their exact role, so I'm not making that accusation here.

But putting everything together, it honestly feels like:

Get the student enrolled → quote one number → collect registration → change the story later.

I have screenshots of the emails, the exemption confirmation and the fee quotation.

So what should I do now?

Should I go Imarticus escalation → ACCA complaint → National Consumer Helpline?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with Imarticus or another ACCA learning partner.
