TPS>B2 visa>H1b

Has anyone here successfully applied for an H1B after their TPS expired? For example, you got picked in the lottery, your TPS ended, you filed an I-539 for a B1/B2 visa, and then filed for an H1B while that B1 visa was still pending?

Expired TPS> Pending b1/b2 visa> filed for H1B.

Thanks

EAD card approval

I have a question regarding applying for an EAD card along with an I-485 form. How long does it take for the EAD card to get approved once biometrics are completed? I had my biometrics done in August 2026 and I am still waiting for the EAD card to get approved.

Thanks in advance.

Help interpreting the next steps for TPS Haiti

I understand that many Haitians are feeling frustrated with the two-week extension and are likely contemplating the future. While the Supreme Court has affirmed the government's authority to terminate TPS, and now the judiciary branch cannot intervene in such governmental decisions, the path forward remains somewhat ambiguous. I am closely monitoring the ongoing legal proceedings, and it appears that a full termination of TPS may take some time. I am curious whether USCIS will continue to grant extensions until a final judgment is rendered, or if they will cease extensions in the interim.

Here's the latest Joint status report that was due on July 10th 2026:.

At the conclusion of the report, there is a compilation of dates. Could someone kindly clarify the significance of these dates?
