I do as much as I can on my own but my 2013 Q7 just popped up with “alternator not charging” light. I am traveling for the next 4 weeks and it seems like about a 4 hour job. I don’t want to sink top end stuff into a 179k, 13 yo vehicle but middle of the road works for me. Looking for a reputable shop that understands a bunch of stuff has to move/be removed to get to the alternator (and not learn on my dime). Plus give me an option for middle of the road parts.

Suggestions ? Southern MD best since I will probably have to have it towed.
