Ive been at sainsburys 5 years and have a contract where I work set days, so every other weekend and a couple of days in the week. Ive noticed we have some new starters, who dont work set days. When I asked them they said they dont have contracted days, is this going to become a thing where people are expected to be flexible and only get 1 weeks notice of what they re working. I have commitments outside of work and dont know how you re meant to live your life like this
