Matter Over Ethernet Shades Not Staying Connected
Hi all, I recently purchased 7 matter over ethernet shades and have finally finished retrofitting them into my home (This isn't for the weak of heart).
The first couple days were great when I had 2-4 shades installed. They were responsive when used by remote and by the Apple Home app. The only thing I noticed was they frequently showed "closing" or "opening" in apple home when they weren't moving. That said when I interacted with them they would move without issue.
When I finished install of the remaining blinds I almost immediately noticed 1/7 show unavailable and not come back online. I did some basic trouble shooting steps including a power cycle, verifying no updates were available and resetting and repairing. Once repaired that specific blind would show but another 1/7 would fall offline. I verified all ethernet wiring was terminated properly and reports no issues. The offline blinds still work via remote without problem and I can see them on the network with an IP assigned.
My home has two Apple tv 4k's latest generation and one HomePod mini. I previously had the Apple tv 4k selected as the default home hub since it was connected via ethernet. However it was suggested elsewhere I let apple home do automatic selection but this does not seem to make a difference. Once connected to apple home I add the blinds to Home Assistant. Both platforms once the issue strikes seem to be unsolvable. The error message in the Home Assistant logs will show "Failure (1) / NoSharedTrustRoots (1)Received general error status for protocol 0 (Sigma2(Resume))" when trying to connect.
I can add any additional information needed! I have reached out to Smart Wings support and they responded quickly they are investigating. Figured I'd throw it to the group and see if anyone else had this issue and successfully beat it. TIA!
