Why is Loyola Chicago’s Median GPA only a 3.00?

My other acceptances have a 3.3-3.4 GPA median (Tulane) and 3.3 (UB). Loyola Chicagos 3.00 GPA median, which is about a B is keeping me from committing there. I feel like this is a huge downside as my GPA will automatically look lower numerically compared to these other schools (and many others).

tulane vs loyola chicago

goal: big law. I know big law isn’t easy from either of these schools. Please don’t comment if you are going to say that I should retake and reapply, thats not my question. Tulane is slightly better in biglaw but I don’t love NOLA. It’s just not an ideal place to live as it’s just a tourist area with not much for locals. Not sure where I want to practice, but open to staying in Chicago after.

goal is big law, no clue where I want to practice or end up. options are tulane, loyola chicago and university at buffalo. scholarship/tuition aside (ive been saving for years for financial fine to go to any), which one would be best for big law outcome?
