Well folks the insurance has denied evenity for me 2 times so we tried tymlos and I just got the email they denied the pre authorization on it aswell. My dexa was -3.7 on average and lowest was -4.4 at l3 so kinda lost now I’ve got a combined total of 13 deformities in my spine from this. But it’s not “medically necessary” don’t know how they got that but oh well guess I’ll fuckin get crippled from some more bad sneezes or coughing to hard like the last 2 vcf I ended up with. I’m a 22 year old male with severe osteoporosis and a combine total of 14 compression deformities in my spine from t2-t12 and l1-l4 my lowest score from around march when I had my dexa was -4.4 at l4 with a lumbar average of -3.7 both my hips were osteopenia I think -1.3 and -1.7. I have been through the ringer finding out what is wrong with me I was told I was too young for spine problems they thought I had a pulled muscle after 5 months of physical therapy and chiropractic care I was on a walker. Went to a spinal surgeon in Nashville doctor Melvin law he is a gift from god. After look at 5 in house X-ray images idk how but he said my bones looks very not dense to him so he sent me for a testosterone,VIT d and dexa and all were low or positive that was in march. He referred me to rhumatology and infusion center closer to where I live in KY to get me checked for celiac and also get evenity shots for me they have had them approved for men around my age before with better scores. The rhum agreed that I needed help the fastest I could get it because while waiting for the appointment from march to July I fracture 2 more not doing anything besides a. Really bad cough from being sick. The rhum states evenity would get me to a safe place the fastest so they can start me on weight training and things to rebuild bone and they found I was celiac Hense the low vit d of 20.3 and testosterone being average 107 between 3 morning tests. Now my vit d is 97.3 I’ve been on test replacement since February but the insurance denied my evenity even after 70 plus pages document failed pain management, fails physio, 4mris,3 cts,3 X-rays, and 2d doctors saying I need it and I feel lost. We filed an appeal and are attempting to do a peer to peer with the spine guy but it’s up in the air I don’t need tymlos or something that will be half as effective and take twice as long I need help now . 1 year ago I was lifting heavy working out 5x days a week I was a cop in ky now I’m in dispatch at a desk in daily pain scared to sneeze and the ins I pay for won’t help. Idk gang I’m spiraling and this is more a rant than a look for answers

22 male 14 compression deformities in spine lowest dexa reading of -4.4 and 2 doctors stating I need evenity now. Insurance said go take a hike you don’t need them.
