I don’t like Riley but I feel bad watching her on this show. She has a lot of maturing to do. Maybe it’s because she’s lived a more sheltered life than most? But she doesn’t handle alcohol well, and probably shouldn’t drink on camera. It’s a little concerning that she has to be reminded by friends to drink water because her behavior is embarrassing. She acts above the other women on the show. Maybe because she comes from money and her famous mother gives her a lot of leverage in the bravo universe. But it’s super hard to watch. Like if i had a friend like that i’d constantly have anxiety about what she is going to do or say next while intoxicated. When she’s upset with Georgia its like watching a child throw a tantrum. Or borderline a mean girl try to bully and belittle someone to feel better about themselves. I believe the cast holds a lot of patience towards her and she doesn’t see that. Ariana seems to baby her and try to save face for her too which is probably exhausting. I kind of wish Riley wasn’t on this show because her interactions with the group and her interviews make me cringe. But maybe that’s the effect of having young privileged people live their life for our entertainment. All in all I am hopeful that she will be a much different person as she gets older and hopefully grows. I agree with other posts that deep down she seems very insecure and is a good example of how exhausting an insecure friend can be irl.
