I can’t get this passenger cv axle off, tried a slide hammer and a pry bar. It moved a little but not much How do I go about it?

She claims to have taken it to a mechanic, came to me for help putting in a battery but it was the wrong size. Checked her battery it was still good. So I took out MAF sensor put it back and it started and stayed on for a while. But idled rough not it does this. I want to know why it’s doing this. Key point she’s missing the air intake
