Is this degree of bolt wobble normal? Thanks :)

Apologies for the title, but is my bolt stiffer than usual when cocking? In most of the reviews I've seen online, the bolt is much easier to lift. Is there anything I can do to loosen her up a bit, or should I return the rifle?

I was trying to remove the factory bolt shroud but I think I fucked it. This is the current state of play. Any advice as to where to go from here would be greatly appreciated. This is a left handed bolt shroud BTW. Thanks!
