My first camera and really enjoying the learning process. Really want to learn the basics of a good photo and figure out my preferences before upgrading lens. Thinking of a Viltrox 35mm f1.7 or Sony 50mm f1.8. Any advice would really be appreciated.

My first camera, bought used on eBay and really enjoying the learning process. I want to learn the basics and figure out my preferences before upgrading to a better lens. Thinking of a viltrox 35mm f1.7 or Sony 50mm f1.8. Any advice is really appreciated!
