Has walking affected your period in any way?

I feel mine has become lighter and shorter. Not sure if it’s really walking but periods changed after walking has become a daily habit for me so I am wondering about everyone’s experience? 🙏

Thyroid and hair health

At what level you started noticing improvement in your hair and skin? Mine is dry brittle and snaps. Besides the ongoing shedding, 80% of it has become kinky- different thickness along the strand. It doesn’t reflect light nor does it absorb moisture. It’s coarse thick and feels like a thread between my fingers.

I feel I can’t trust labs alone. They have been “normal” but I had all the hypothyroid symptoms so I was able to get meds on my own.

My baseline levels are:

TSH: 2.5-3.8

T4: 0.7-0.8

T3: always 2.5

Currently:

TSH: 0.54 (uIU/mL)

T4: 0.89 ng/dL

T3: 2.76 pg/mL

Reverse T3 is : 0.10 ng/ml. (0.1-0.24)

TPO: <3

Anti Thyroglobulin Abs is : 0.97 ( at some point it was 1.98)

My TSH has only dropped after I upped my T4 to 50. Currently my dose is 50mcg T4 and 2.5mcg T3 4 times a day.

My energy improved, I wake up feeling well rested. But my vitals remain off with my blood pressure being chronically low 80s/60s. My resting heart rate is in the 60s. When I stand still for long my legs turn purple but not swelling or heat. My nails remain dry and brittle and so do my hair.

My TSH is almost suppressed and doesn’t look like there is room for increased, yet my t4 and t3 levels are still not optimal based on what I’m reading here and else where .

What would you do if you were me ? At what levels you started seeing change in your hair and nails?

Am I hyper now?

TSH: 0.4 ulU/ml (0.38 - 5.33)

Ft4: 0.77 ng/dL (0.61 - 1.12 ng/dL)

FT3: 2.75 pg/mL (2.47 - 3.9)

My starting point:

TSH was swinging between (2.5-3.7 ) with symptoms. T4 was either 0.8 or 0.9 and t3 was always 2.5

As you can see: Only my TSH dropped, but my t4 decreased and t3 only slightly increased.

I’m on 50mcg t4- and low dose t3 around (2.5) every 3 hours (3 to 4 times a day)

Please help me understand this

Nystatin

Where is everyone getting their Nystatin tablets?

Where I live only sells the oral suspension and I’m hesitant to use it for two reasons: my issue is in the digestive track 2. It has lots of nasty inactives.

Thank you! 🙏
