When I look at the tuition fees for various programs at https://humber.ca/explore-programs/tuition-fee-schedule?year=16&program=789 for 2026-2027, I find that the total for each semester doesn't include the IGNITE health insurance fee, but when you go and look at 2025-2026, the total does include it, which is very weird.

I'm so confused this year, like should I add the health insurance fee on top of the total, or does the total already include it? Why is Humber's website so unclear? Thanks.

Like assuming information provided about yourself (e.g. your income, where you live, etc.) doesn't change, how much would actual calculated funding differ from the initial estimate given after you apply?

If anyone in the situation above could share their experience, that would be great, I'm just very curious.

ASSUMING the personal information you provided (course load, your income, etc. ) is fully correct and will not change throughout the academic year whatsoever, how much is the initial estimate likely to differ from calculated funding typically? Not sure how much verification of school fees would drop your funding, but I'm going to Humber Polytechnic if this is relevant.

Hi, I tried to find this info and I cannot find it. The only thing I can find is the course kits for the CIP courses which we'll likely have to purchase (Humber website says it's $220, but in reality it's $302).

I can't find info regarding textbook costs for courses like the leadership one, or insurance account course.

If anyone who did the program (or is currently enrolled as of Jan. 2026) share what the textbook costs are, this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

So I signed it and printed to PDF, and the file on my computer when I open it does NOT require a password, but when I upload it to the OSAP portal, and then try to view it, it cannot be opened without the password listed beside the file! This is my second try, and I don't even know what to do. Is this even normal?

I received an estimate after actually applying, and assuming all my information is correct and doesn't change, how much will the estimate change when funding is finalized? I'm going to Humber, and when I use the online aid estimator (the one publicly available) it understates the tuition and compulsory fees. I presume this is the assumption OSAP is actually using, and therefore later on the actual funding should increase?

Playing around, I noticed the cost of living estimates are quite high in the 2025-2026 calculator (never asked if you lived with parents), so I wonder if it's being conservative. For independent students (both on federal and provincial level), assuming other information you provided in estimator remains accurate, did you notice a huge difference in total funding on the actual application?
