After getting HHKB Hybrid Type-S, I'm totally in love with Topre and capacitive keyboard. Tho I already had Hansung gk893b capacitive keyboard, it feels totally different.

Now, I want to buy one more Topre keyboard especially from Realforce series. The only problem is they are using a same Topre switches so it could be buying another Type-S keyboard. They do have a normal version but all of them only available in Japan and never tried Realforce keyboards before.

As I'm selling several mechanical keyboards and my first capacitive keyboard or gk893b, Realforce could be next or HHKB Hybrid normal version if I cant find an option. I have no issues with HHKB Hybrid but it would be nice to have a proper TKL keyboard for working. Surprisingly, Japanese version have many options including non-Silent version which is NOT available around the world even for R4 series.

Since there is no way to test it in person, I have no idea how it sounds and feels like especially since there aren't any videos of Realforce R4 with non silent switches. It would be nice to have a non silent version but not sure as I might disappoint and regret it. Noise is not a big deal since I'm using it alone all the time.

But regardless, I have no idea how non silent switches sounds like on R4 series and I wonder if any of you have thoughts about it?

Technically, I shot sports for 3~4 years from elementary school every summer but none of them were serious until this year with proper lenses. From March, I shot an amateur league for free cause I wanted to test my new lenses and after 4 months, they offered paid jobs time to time to shoot their championships. Truth be told, this is my first paid jobs as a photographer despite shooting photos for more than 10 years. Sports photography is just a side job while I wanted to focus on portrait photography but it is quite unexpectedly happened.

For now, it's not a big deal cause I did not consider it as a main job but I do have ambitions and it can be one of my main job as a photographer which I'm looking forward to it because one job isn't enough to earn money from my situation. If I take this more seriously like a professional photographer, then there are few issues to deal with:

1. Currently, I'm getting $100 per hour or game. Yup, I know it's totally low especially since many people from Reddit and Facebook told me my rate should be $500 per hour or game. No licensing or additional payments for images itself. Tho I made many good images, getting higher rates would be ideal.

2. I'm a freelancer which makes it impossible to shoot pro games. As I'm not part of something, requesting a media pass is not gonna be possible forever. In a short term, not a big deal but you never know especially if you want higher payments and portfolio quality. Even colleges and minor leagues are quite strict about it in NYC.

3. I only shot amateur lacrosse and softball leagues. Never shot other types of sports. I do reached out to several leagues, schools, and teams but they dont want a photographer with lack of experiences which is ironic.

So yeah, turning sports photography into business is quite tough especially since I dont know what my next move should be as I'm only shooting one league for paid jobs. But hey, maybe I'm rushing too much cause this is the first year of shooting sports with proper gears despite shooting photos for 10 years. And few days ago, I got 70-200 GM II + 1.4 TC for the first time so we'll see about it.

Tho I would keep reaching out to leagues and teams to shoot as many sports as possible but is there anything else I need to do for possible business or clients?

TB900 EQ Trackball is officially listed on their website a while ago and expected to release on 8/8 for $130. But no info for Amazon.

I had multiple trackball mouse and got Elecom Huge Plus quite recently as I missed trackball mouse itself. I also had Kensington Expert before so cant wait for TB900 EQ which I never knew they made TB800 early this year.

Anyway, whether they release a new trackball on 8/8 or not, cant wait to buy it.

I have LG ThinQ Dual inverter AC 8000 BTU and I regularly on and off AC whenever is too hot or cold to save electricity but I heard keep using AC at 72~77 degrees Fahrenheit can save a lot of electricity. Since I'm a freelancer, I usually stay home all day so I wonder if it's true or not. Of course, I will turn it off if I'm gonna sleep or leave my house.

Is it true tho?

I have photo based art works that I've been creating for almost 10 years and it feels like it's time to show my works and start working as an artist especially since one of my series had been featured on a well known website.

The problem is I'm not sure what to do next as I'm stuck with many things. Galleries? None of them ever responded while not sure whom to contact with. Selling art by myself? I have no idea what to do especially since I cant print them without promises. I do have my other jobs to sustain my life but making a decision what to do next is my biggest concern.

Do you think I should just keep sending emails galleries and/or participate open calls? Or any other suggestions what to do next?
