I'm trying to make my main character a Lohse two-hander physical DPS with the red prince as a fighter support, Sebille as an archer and Thane as a caster. I'm enjoying the game and don't want to give up but everything keeps killing me! I'm about a few hours in, just exploring Fort Joy but.... i'm so weak?

The crocodiles outside the town, the assassin that was sent to kill the red prince (I managed to kill him after a while with a full party), the underground arena... everything is butchering me! Is there a guide I can read to know what I am doing wrong?

It's my first Divinity game and I don't usually play CRPGs besides Rogue Trader and BG3 if that matters... and those felt easier heh

I know everyone says don't do it but I like a good challenge but is my starting character and class a bad idea? I envision a kind of heavy armor wearing knight caster
