What does adjourned mean?

"Adjourned means a court session, hearing, or legal proceeding has been officially suspended — either to a set future date or indefinitely. In legal contexts, it signals that the matter is not dismissed or over; it simply picks up again at a later time." Source

It seems the date was reschedule for in 3 months time, September 10th 2026.

Why would they adjourn?

"In the legal world, an adjournment is [...] a temporary stop to a court hearing, trial, or other legal proceeding. [...] This pause can happen for countless reasons—a key witness is sick, an attorney has a scheduling conflict, or one side needs more time to review new evidence." Source
