Favorite genre of fiction?

I really like magical realism. There’s something about out of the ordinary things happening within the ordinary lives of the characters and them just treating it like it’s the most normal thing ever.(like this guy just accepting that he talks to cats now..or when this lady just ascends to heaven all of a sudden in front of all her family who are not one bit surprised but actually quite annoyed that she took the expensive linen sheets with her..or when a magical colonel sanders look alike pimp appears and the character just follows him around without question)

The author Murakami does this really well..i’ve read Kafka on the shore and currently reading a wild sheep chase..both are awesome in this regard…also one hundred years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Happy to know what everyone else is into :)

How vividly do you picture scenes when reading fiction?

I personally try my best to get a sensible enough picture in my head. But sometimes it really messes up with my pace and even then getting a sensible enough picture is hard when the writer keeps adding extra details that conflicts with the picture in my head. Happy to know how you guys go about it!

State of UI/UX in Nepal(And in general)

I'm really interested in UI/UX design and want a career in it. But recently, some of the people i know(in tech) have told me that it's an unsafe career path and that most ui/ux jobs will likely be replaced by AI. That's making me really second guess it. Some further insights would really be helpful (Especially insights from the ones that already have a career in ui/ux). Thank you!
