Dain is lowkey impressive

So, if we do the math, Violet gets assigned to the Quest Squad in January, and they arrive at Unnbriel about two months later. That means Dain had roughly two months to become somewhat conversational in Unnbrish, while also learning three other languages at the same time.
I know the fandom loves the “Aaric was never asked if he could speak those languages” meme and how he embarrassed Dain, but honestly, being able to get somewhat fluent in a language in just two months is incredibly impressive. Especially considering that Dain was learning three other languages simultaneously

Creds to sunsetrose7 on Tumblr for pointing this out

Common misconception about Dain and Sloane

I've seen people on TikTok saying that Sloane doesn't know Dain played a part in Liam's death and that she'd be furious with him if she found out. But she literally does know, and she still fell for him.
At the Cliffs of Dralor, Violet mentions that she and Sloane have already talked about Dain (off page) According to Violet, Sloane says she doesn't want to forgive him, no matter what. So she is clearly aware

Quote that Rebecca used

Hey, so Rebecca just announced an Iron Flame night in October, but the quote she used to promote it really caught my attention:
“Though gryphon riders are not capable of producing signets, they are not powerless.
Underestimating them IS AN ERROR.
—GRYPHONS OF POROMIEL, A STUDY IN COMBAT BY MAJOR GARION SAVOY”
This is the first time I’ve seen this particular quote being used to promote Iron Flame. I speak two other languages besides English, and I’ve never seen this specific quote used to promote Iron Flame in either of those languages either.
So, could this possibly be a hint?
I’ve seen people speculating that this Garion guy might actually be General Aetos, especially since Rebecca said that his first name starts with a G. Maybe there’s more to this quote than we think?

When the full blurb will be revealed and what it will include

Every time I look at the new novella's description, it says that the full blurb will be revealed soon. I assume that's when we'll find out which characters are getting POVs. Does anyone know when we should expect the full blurb to be released? Has anyone noticed a pattern from previous releases or knows how long before the book's release the full blurb is usually revealed?
And when it's actually revealed, will it just mention the people who will get a POV chapter, or will it include both their names and short summaries of their chapters as well?

How did their relationship escalate this quickly

«Sloane charges. I nearly jump over the table, but Dain gets there first, hooking his arm around her waist and hauling her back as she swings. The second he sets her on her feet, those fists are aimed in his direction, and I wince as he lets two make contact before trapping her wrists and leaning in low. Whatever he says must register, because she gives a curt nod, then retorts with a glare and walks back into formation»
I read Onyx Storm over a year ago, but I'm still confused about how their relationship escalated so quickly. At the beginning of the book, Sloane seemed pretty mad at anything Dain said to her

Dragons lying about…

Rebecca said that dragons don't always give their riders their real names. So, with the secret project covering the Threshing Day of thirteen different characters, I wonder if we'll finally find out which dragon has been lying about its name.

Am I the only one just noticing this about the “death” order

Recently I was thinking about how, when they fired the wardstone, they needed dragonfire from all seven dragon breeds. It also seems to be foreshadowed that the six most powerful riders of this generation will each represent one of the dragon breeds. Keeping that in mind, I think Rebecca might be following that same pattern with the major character deaths.
If you look at the major deaths so far:
Liam had a red dragon.

Varrish had an orange dragon, and technically Jack's orange dragon died as well when Jack killed his own dragon.

Lilith had a brown dragon.

Quinn and Panchek had green dragons.

At the end of the day, I might be reaching, but it's an interesting pattern but yeah

Lilith and Aetos

I saw this on Tumblr (I lost the account that made the post ,if anyone knows it, please comment it), but Lilith specifically told Sloane that she blames Aetos Sr. for Liam’s death. She didn’t mention anything about Dain.
