Is charye a closed practice?

I couldn't find any definitive answers online but I was just curious as to if Charye is a closed practice. Would it be okay as a non Korean to participate in the ceremony with my Korean partner?

My partner participated this year during LNY to honour her father that had passed a few months prior. She was very embarrassed about it so I tried to encourage her the best I could. She invited me to participated but I wanted to get a more unbiased opinion on the subject. I just want to be as supportive as I can while educating myself more and being as respectful as I can.

How strict are the FL State Parks' background checks?

For a little background information, I was arrested a few months ago by ICE and was charged with assault on a LEO & resisting (not felonies). I am applying for a state park ranger position and while all charges were never filed/dropped, I know the arrest itself is still on my record.

Should this be something I should worry over? Should I mention it in any potential interviews or wait for it to be brought up?

Do you do dog sports with your GSD?

Title sums it up - Do you participate in dog sports with your German Shepherd and if so, which sport(s)?

Our rescue, Scout, has shown a great interest in water and playing fetch with a bumper as of late. Naturally, we are now looking into dock diving classes for once we get his first X rays.

CAVA Manchild Manager berates employee for their dad dying... on father's day week

Just wanted to let anyone who dines at CAVA on international speedway blvd that I witnessed a manchild of a manager yell, berate, and dismiss an employee to the point where she was visibly uncomfortable and on the verge of tears. I didn't catch the start of the conversation but she was requesting some time off due to her father passing. The response from the manager was absolutely egregious, saying stuff like "Well clearly it wasn't important (to not have called out prior to the schedule being made)" and that he was tired of her bullshit excuses. Its been a few days but I couldn't get it out of my mind.

My heart goes out to the employee and I hope she sees this to reassure her that no manager should speak to someone like that. It was absolutely disgusting.

Edit: I called CAVA to further inquiry about the situation since I still haven’t heard back from Corporate and had the displeasure of speaking with Bobby where he prompted berated me, called me a liar and pathetic and hung up with me. Clearly he has issues regulating his emotions.
