Wildest costumes and sets?

I am working my way through the various Austen adaptations and really enjoying the costumes from each era. I stumbled on this 1971 Persuasion adaptation on YT and am just giggling over this green checked day dress alongside green walls & green sofas... Everything is green! And orange! With dark brown accents! It's so iconically 70s. Not pictured: the hot pink swag curtains (alongside jarring racist statues, absolute yikes and I have no idea if that's period accurate or just a 1971 *choice*).

Honorable mention to the sailor collars in the 1980 P&P!

Edit: omg, Captain Wentworth's ruffled tuxedo front evening dress 💀 it looks exactly like my dad's white wedding tuxedo with tails from 1983

Do y'all have any favorite anachronistic or unhinged costumes/sets?

Name for a specific type of product!

I am looking for a product name or style name for shoes and socks that have a divider between the 2nd and 3rd toes. I have excellent great toe abduction, but my 2nd and 3rd toes are developing crossover toes that are not being fully addressed by barefoot shoe wear. I cannot tolerate toe spacers or spreaders so I'm looking for those bonkers shoes or socks that have the space between the 2nd and 3rd toe. I have seen people post them in this sub before!

First pair of Belenkas review

I bought the all black Rebounds size 10/EU 43

My R foot is 11 cm wide, 25.2 cm long

My L foot is 10.5 cm wide, 25.5 cm long

I have 4E width mid foot/toes, medium volume feet with narrower heels.

Per Belenka website the 10/EU 43 measures 11cm wide, 28cm long

I knew they would be a little long and loose in the heel and plan to get heel pads to fill the heels. If anyone has suggestions on long lasting thick heel fillers, that would be wonderful!

So far positively the construction seems sturdy, there's no toe spring, the width is amazing without looking clownish (softstar I love you but it's true), and the rubber additions to the upper make it look more like a regular sneaker. The soles are somewhat inflexible and thick compared to other barefoot shoes I own (softstar with vibram soles, xero, saguaros) and more comparable to the thick, stiff hobibear soles I've tried. The inflexibility is so worth it for the improvement in width. I tried to wear my Saguaro Forestep I after a few days of wearing the Rebounds and my right toes and midfoot already felt compressed after the freedom of the Rebounds!

I primarily wear them for working in a hospital setting and working out (running and weights). They're better street and hospital shoes than running shoes, but running is not what they're made for so I'm not bothered.

They are having some good sales right now and I might pick up other pairs for variety in style and for running.

My only constructive criticism for the website: their shoes are labeled as unisex but the feminine looking shoes are cut much more narrow than the truly unisex shoes. You have to look at each individual shoe's measurements because they use different lasts for each shoe despite being labeled unisex sizing. Their women's shoe styles are not wide enough for my 4E foot even if I size up.
