Nesia is part of my Personal AU/headcanons, and represents the people and general vibes of the country. The male version of Indonesia (seen on my art posted for the 17th) is from my Accurate AU/headcanons, where they represent the government. These two AUs/headcanons are my 2 mains.

During my Wikipedia rabbit holes, I decided to compile a list of these "semi-countries" from when Indonesia was a federal state (where a country's provinces act like countries; think of the USA), and are making designs for them! Their designs are plain as I only did some basic research to prevent accidentally mischaracterising them. This is part 1 of many, as I have 11 left to research and design.

Dutch New Guinea/Republic of West Papua
United States of Indonesia

- Father is Liberal/Guided Democracy (Old Order) Indonesia (Yes, i split independent indonesia into three people as they seem drastically different)
- Adoptive father (and uncle) is New Order Indonesia
- Gained power around 1998 (when Suharto and New Order resigned)
- Started existing around early 1900s around the Indonesian national awakening
I would especially love to hear about their lore and how you interpret their history

I am aware that today is also the national day of Togo, South Africa, Sierra Leone, and Mayotte. I am currently working on their designs and will post them next Monday (I do have finals so not 100% sure)
