This is a really prevalent issue in the community that ive seen very often in all CH social media spaces that most people dont adress:

Russia and its predecessor states are extremely oversexualized and steryotyped by the community much more than the other "main" countries (Usa, UK, China, and France), especially when they're portrayed as men

Russia and USSR are frequently steryotyped, sexualized and overmasculanized by people while Russian Empire is often overfeminized and sexualized

Not only do these interpretations push harmful steryotypes of russian men being dominant, but is also extremely disrespectful to the people who are currently suffering from the actions of the Ruasian government (i.e. Ukrainians on the territory that is affected by the war) and people who suffered under the rule of the USSR and Russian Empire

Its jusy disheartening to see people constantly oversexualizing a country and pushing harmful steryotypes while ALSO disrespecting war victims without finding it wrong just because the object of fetishization is portrayed as a man

This also ties into most people's ignorance about Russia's crimes because of the major pop culture influence russia has, but explaining this would make the post longer than it already is
