I just witnessed such a small kindness, but I wanna share it here.

I was at the intersection of 45th and Washington at a red light, and there was a dark blue Mazda SUV next to me in her lane. It was right by that storage facility, and there was a man in a wheelchair. It looked like he dropped something, and this lady noticed.

She got out of her car, walked up to him and picked up his belongings and put them in his lap. At first, it looked like the people in their car behind her were upset, but then when they noticed what was happening, they looked at me and I looked at them and we gave each other a thumbs up. The lady got back into her car and took the right onto 45th.

So if you know any woman that drives a dark blue Mazda, has either very dark brown or black hair, and I think she drives a Mazda CX 50 and she lives in that area, you know a very good person. And if by chance she is actually reading this, thank you for being a good human.

My mom and I visited the city in May, and discovered M+ by accident. We bought a few t-shirts. A bag. A couple hoodies. We loved their designs and their quality.

They don’t ship to the US, and I don’t know when I’ll be able to get back to Poland.

Are there any local companies that act as a shipping service/middle man?

I miss your food too. And your art. And your graffiti. And your dragon.

I’m not sure how many people are aware of this, but it is state law that landlords and property management companies can’t charge an application fee if you provide them with this document. There are a few caveats, like the report can’t be more than 30 days old and it has to be from a recognized company…but y’all shouldn’t be paying $50-$75 for each apartment you apply to.

Set up your tour. Tell them via text or email (after you view and decide to move forward) you have one of these bad boys.

I believe the reports cost $50 but you can generate as many as you want in that 30 day period.

Stop paying these asinine app fees only to be denied or told you were “outbid”.
