Live on Campus vs At Home?

I’ve received about $16000 in scholarships for my first year and $6000 are Cheques which I think I can deposit into my bank account and keep it for myself if I want.

Tuition is around $7000 and I kind of want to live on campus which is around $18000. That’ll be $25000 in total. Should I do it and try to pay the remaining fees off student loans or live at home? If I live at home, I would be keeping the $6000 to myself and all tuition costs will be covered by my $10000 scholarship (if that makes sense). However, I’ve heard a lot of great experiences with housing (I won’t have a roommate but a shared washroom) and it seems like it’d be worth it? Idk tho please help!

Does studentaidbc cover housing fees if I have that many scholarships already?

UBC Revoke

I was accepted into sauder with a 98% overall average. My Gr. 11 English was 97% but I’m currently taking Gr. 12 English and I’m at a 90%. I don’t think it will raise either. My other grades have remained the same. How low can my English grade drop to until my offer is revoked…

I’m taking the ab calc ap test to hopefully not have to take math 100 at ubc. If I pass, what would you guys recommend my course load to be (split between two semesters) to even out the difficult courses.

Uhm also I’ve barely studied for my ap calc exam so I’m kinda worried… it’s next week….

Should I take a second year course to keep it 5 courses/ semester (if so, which one is best), and what are some easy electives? I lowkey haven’t researched my courses at all so some help to start it up would be great😄

how much would you say your average drops from your highschool avg? My average is 98 rn and i feel like im gonna drop to a 60.

Would yall recommend joining clubs in first year as well? I plan to join business related clubs like enactus, JDC west, cus, but I feel like it’ll be too competitive. Idk. I kinda wanna join UBC current as well but idk if I’ll have time for it. How much free time would I have😰 thanks
