16YOld Looking for a Fully Funded 1-Year Language Scholarship in China (with Stipend)

Hi everyone,

I'm 16 and I'm looking for a fully funded 1-year language course in China (a stipend would be a huge plus). honestly dont care about the city or the university's prestige just want the opportunity.

The problem is, most programs I've found require you to be 18 or older, I'm currently doing my Alevels and done with Olevels and got(5 subjects: 4 A's, 1 B) and I want to continue working on my A-Levels while I'm doing the language course in China.

If you know of any scholarships, programs, or universities that accept students under 18, or if you have any advice at all, please share it with me!

Tyy🙏

Wasted 1 year of ALevels, got D/E grades, don't know what to do next

Hi everyone, need some advice.

I've basically wasted a year of ALevels. I took Edexcel Math (P1 and Mechanics), Edexcel Physics (P1 and P3), and CAIE CS (AS P1 and P2). My grades are terrible — mostly D and E.

Before starting, my goal was to get into Tsinghua after ALevels. That obviously needs AAA, which feels impossible now.

My dad thinks I chose the wrong subjects. Honestly? I don't even know what I'm interested in. I did well in OLevel Bio and Chem, but I'm not passionate about becoming a doctor or anything Chem-related. Bio is okay I guess, but that's it.

So I took CS, Physics, and Math. I've always struggled with Math no matter how hard I try. Physics is just boring. And CS — I never studied it before in my life, still took it for AS, and I'm probably going to fail P2.

Now I don't know what to do next.

Should I change my subjects? Or stick with these and retake some papers for the Oct 2026 session? I'm self-schooled — no school, no tutor. Everything feels boring. I don't even like studying at this point, but I know I have to do something.

My other option is going to China on a language program alone. But I barely leave my room or talk to anyone except my cat and close family. So I don't know if I can handle that. Plus there are very limited ones that allows you at 16 and my parents won't support me financially for going all alone so gotta find a scholarship. That means a ton of searching on my own.

Any advice?

Thanks for reading.

Hey guys

So it's a 16f here, and I'm into self schooling from 3 damned years no social circle no friends no hobbies just stay in my room or home 24 7, being the perfect first born that causes no trouble no wishes and nothing the easiest kid. After 7th grade for olevels my parents removed me from my physical school cuz there is no school that offers olevels in my city. Anyways I was given a laptop food and internet and a room and was expected to study hard, and I did got all 5 A*s. My parents never did the favor of asking me how my studies were going etc or any check ins nothing. And well then I get into songs, social media and novels etc. and now in my Alevels I m getting bad grades D and E and now my mom is blaming me that I m misusing resources I don't study I watch yt on laptop I m cheating on her she gave me everything blah blah

So whose fault is it really
