X47- og

Finally bought the 47 og

I've wanted to own an Ultraviolette for a long time. Ever since I first saw the F99 nearly three years ago, I was completely sold on the brand. I remember constantly talking to my mom about Ultraviolette—from the F99 to the F77—and I even considered booking the Tesseract ( waiting for the infra to improve in pune then I'll go for it )

Owning an Ultraviolette feels surreal, not just because I'm now part of the UV family, but because it's a brand I've admired for its engineering and design philosophy. As someone pursuing Automobile n Transportation design, being able to own a machine created by one of India's most ambitious design-led companies makes this milestone even more meaningful.

I chose the X47 over the F77 because I knew my real-world requirements. My riding is primarily daily commuting, and the X47 delivers exactly what I need in terms of range, practicality, and efficiency.

Cudnt go for the recon because of the budget but even 150 to 180 is more than enough considering my riding habit and (10 km College commute + 30 daily ) over ice vehicles I own quite a couple ice vehicles and wanted a break and rethought after the recent Gadkari bs. The F99 is still a dream I'll own one day, but this was the right motorcycle for this stage of my journey.

Here's to many kilometers of riding, learning, and hopefully designing machines that inspire someone else the way Ultraviolette inspired me.

Planning to buy an X47 Street in Bangalore - looking for honest ownership feedback

Hi everyone,

I'm a student based in Bangalore and I'm considering buying the Ultraviolette X47 Street (base variant).

Recon is Outta budget

I'm test-riding it today and deciding between the X47, Ather 450X, and ICE options like the Duke 250.

This would be a pretty emotional purchase for me because it would be my first motorcycle. I've owned two scooters before and currently still have a petrol scooter as a backup, so I won't be completely dependent on the X47 for transportation.

My commute is mostly city riding, but on internship days I can end up doing 80–100 km. I have charging available at my apartment and there's also a UV charging station about 4 km away.

I've been watching reviews and reading owner experiences, but I've also come across quite a few posts about service and after-sales issues. That's probably my biggest concern right now.

For current owners:

- How has your service experience been?

- Any reliability, software, charging, or connectivity issues?

- How practical has it been for daily use?

- What's your real-world city range?

- Any unexpected ownership or maintenance costs?

- If you had to buy a vehicle again today, would you still choose the X47?

Since I already have a petrol scooter as backup, I'm willing to accept some compromises, but I want to know whether the ownership experience is genuinely good or if the service concerns are something I should take seriously before making the purchase.

Would appreciate honest feedback from owners.

Looking for quiet art spaces and creative communities in Bangalore

Hi everyone,

I've been living in Bangalore for about six months as a design student and will be here until I graduate. I'm trying to explore the city beyond campus and connect with people who are passionate about art, design, and other creative fields.

I enjoy sketching, journaling, and spending time in calm spaces with good coffee. I'm looking for places where I can work on my sketches, meet like-minded people, and potentially collaborate on creative projects.

So far I've visited Cubbon Park and Chitrakala Parishath, both of which I enjoyed.

I'm specifically interested in:

Art spaces, galleries, and studios

Quiet cafés that are sketch-friendly

Creative meetups and workshops

Places where designers, artists, architects, or other creative professionals regularly gather

I'm not particularly interested in nightlife or crowded social scenes.

If you've discovered any hidden gems, communities, or events that might fit what I'm looking for, I'd appreciate your recommendations.
