This is scene along with Ruby's speeches towards Qrow and Cordovin are the reasons. As to why the writers don't watch their own show or proof reas their scripts.

You never met Tyrian, Weiss! And neither have Blake or Yang!

Seriously Weiss, Blake and Yang have never met or fought against Tyrian in the 9 years the show has been running. And none of them ever met or fought Watts up until this movie, and the movie tries to play it up as if to say Watts has been one of Team RWBY's long time foe. 😒

What "excuse" in the RWBY fandom or the show has you saying got you like this?

For me it's the Ruby is just a 17 year old kid who was forced into the roll of leadership and burden by the weight of everyone's expectations.

Event hough most of her actions in previous volumes says otherwise and everything fell apart due to her dumbass leadership

And whenever the show has a character call her and the team out on their flaws they're demonized for it and have to be put in their place. And the show also has the guld to baby RWBY and keeping saying that everything bad that she did is not that bad.​
