Supra Modeler – NURBS/BRep direct modeling plugin for Maya 2025 (free beta)

Been building a CAD-style modeler inside Maya for a while. It runs on OpenCASCADE,

This beta focuses on curve tools, CV/EP curves, primitives (circle, arc, ellipse, rectangle), snap, and edit mode.

Other stuff is in there too (boolean, fillet, extrude, inset) but the curves are what I want feedback on right now.

Maya dimension live and renderable

I've been working on a Maya plugin that brings proper CAD dimension annotations directly into the viewport — and makes them renderable in Arnold.
What it does:
Linear distance, radius/diameter, angle and polygon face dimensions
On off toggle visibility.
Persistent locator, survives delete history and scene save/reopen
Reads Maya current units automatically (mm, cm, m)
Full Arnold rendering support via custom MtoA translator, dimensions show up in your final render
And render Setup
Why I built it:
I work in automotive visualization and constantly needed to communicate precise measurements in design review renders. Nothing existing did this cleanly in Maya, so I built it.
It's free. No licensing, no trial limits.

Editing dimensions after placement is on the roadmap for v2. Happy to hear what features matter most to you.

Dimension live in Maya viewport. As far as I know and 25 year of Maya user. This is the best toolkit i’ve created. Soon on my gumroad.

Maya point cloud plugin snap , dimension and more

Import point cloud with scalar field and rgb. Make live point cloud. Use curve to draw live on laserscan points and quad draw native suooort. Viewport degradation based distance. Point size live. Clip box in-out. Dimensiona. Measure tool . What else? Native support for gaussian splatting in viewport for ply as gaussian. And render with arnold.

This is a little video that show you the supra modeling process inside Maya. The basta c curves was cnstructed by ep curve 3 as two point, then move cv , only two central for better curvature. Then cutted out the curves where need est. As you can see no reinvent the wheel, simple process but definitely robust, Select edges continue on a trim and do fillet is cad workflow and I'm happy to share with you ASAP next days the build on github here:
