SILENT VEIL REVIEW

SILENT VEIL – Arc 1 & Arc 2 Story Preview

Arc 1 – The Boy No One Chose

Long before the world knew his name, Kaito was simply a boy running from a past he could no longer remember.

After escaping his former life, he arrives in a quiet village hoping to start over. Instead, he finds rejection. The villagers see him as strange, someone who doesn't belong. Only two people treat him differently: Aiko, a cheerful girl who believes everyone deserves a chance, and Ren, a selfish, arrogant boy who often mocks Kaito but can't ignore his determination.

For a short time, the three spend their days together, but happiness never lasts. Aiko suddenly leaves the village to become an ExoKnight, hiding her true reason from everyone.

Left alone once again, Kaito becomes obsessed with one question:

"How can someone with no talent survive in a world ruled by monsters?"

Believing nobody will save him, he secretly studies ancient records and dangerous research before creating an experimental drug meant to awaken hidden human potential. With no one willing to test it, he injects himself.

Nothing happens.

Days pass. The experiment appears to have failed.

Then, one night, a powerful spirit attacks the village.

Kaito throws himself into the battle to protect the people who never accepted him.

He dies.

Instead of darkness, he awakens inside an endless realm filled with colors no human should be able to see. Strange voices whisper around him before everything fades away.

His eyes open.

The spirit standing over his body suddenly realizes the boy it killed is standing again.

Without understanding what has happened, Kaito unleashes a mysterious power and defeats the spirit before collapsing.

The battle is witnessed by the Captain of Faction 7, who realizes this boy may become something the world has never seen before.

Arc 2 – The Boy Who Had Nothing

Kaito awakens inside Faction 7 headquarters, where he discovers that humanity has secretly been fighting spirits for generations.

The world's defenders are known as ExoKnights, warriors who use spiritual energy and ancient techniques to hunt creatures invisible to ordinary people.

Ren is also brought to the headquarters after surviving the village incident. Though the two still argue constantly, they are given the same opportunity—to become ExoKnights.

As training begins, Kaito learns about the eight Korean factions, powerful captains, and elite organizations across the world. It feels as though he has stepped into a completely different reality.

To remain at Faction 7, both boys must survive the deadly Encounter Dome examination.

There is only one problem.

The mysterious power Kaito used against the spirit is gone.

No matter how hard he tries, nothing happens.

While others begin calling him useless and questioning why the captain chose him, Ren refuses to abandon him.

Forced to fight without power, Kaito survives through intelligence, careful planning, and sheer determination.

During the final stage of the examination, a desperate moment briefly awakens a fraction of his mysterious power. It isn't enough to overwhelm his enemies, but it is enough to help him and Ren barely survive.

The arc ends with the arrival of a respected senior ExoKnight, signaling the beginning of Kaito's true journey.

Yet unknown to everyone, the multicolored realm still watches him... and whatever brought him back to life has only just begun.

Review

I made an original anime/manhwa story idea and would love some honest feedback

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on an original story called Silent Veil and wanted to share the idea to see what you think.

It follows Kaito Takamori, a guy who runs away from his powerful family after a hidden incident and tries to live a normal life. Nobody knows who he really is, and he keeps his past a secret while slowly discovering a mysterious power tied to a much bigger world.

Along the way, he meets:

The story deals with stuff like:

The world has spirits, hidden realms, and a bigger conflict that builds over time. I’m trying to make each arc actually develop the characters, not just throw in fights.

I’m still working on it, so I’d really like honest opinions: Does this sound interesting? What parts would you want to know more about? What would you change or improve?

SILENT VEIL

Title: I created my own anime/manhwa story — I want honest feedback

I’ve been working on an original anime/manhwa story called “Silent Veil” and I’m looking for honest opinions from people who enjoy storytelling.

The story follows Kaito Takamori, a boy who runs away from his past and hides his true identity while entering a dangerous world of spirits, warriors, and hidden powers. Along the way he meets characters like Aiko, Ren, and Kyo, each with their own struggles, growth, and reasons for fighting.

The main focus is not only battles and powers, but also character development — learning from pain, overcoming weakness, dealing with the past, and choosing what kind of person you want to become.

I’m still developing the story and I want feedback from other writers/readers:

I would appreciate honest criticism, not just praise. I want to improve the story and make it better.
