AU where Shane and Ilya are pro climbers and decided to aura farm on whole another level, deliver a public message of love and peace, come out, get engaged and get arrested on the same day.

I saw the news about the Russian couple doing this and I immediately thought about Ilya, and yeah Shane would be as insane about climbing as he is about hockey so he would be right there with his man, supporting him. The message of peace and love would play into Ilya giving the Russian gov a big middle finger with the message (Russia actively attacking Ukraine and the anti-gay propaganda laws etc.).
I'm thinking the fic could be partially a socmed but also have some POV from the NYPD chopper crew and maybe body cam footage from when they arrest them on the ground.

Please, could someone adopt this idea. If no one picks this up I'll try to write it myself as a last resort, but feel free to use the idea <333

Hi all, long time lurker, first time caller. I just saw a post over at r/HeatedRivalrySeries about Sasha and Cliff being the next hot couple and honestly? I see the vision, I'd love to read sth with them in it.

I was thinking about a kind of a 'redemption arc' for Sasha (not that he did anything horrible in canon, I don't think) with him being utterly annoyed by/distrustful of Marly's chill kind himbo vibe.

Maybe Sasha being at a club all drunk and pathetic-wet-sad-dog lookin, because he could not get Ilya/drag Ilya down with him and Marly sees him and recognizes he is just a struggling fellow human. Marly shows him a shred of unconditional kindness and Sasha is all like: how dare you!!.....is for me???🥺🥺🥺🥹
I think Sasha would be annoyed by/huff at people being truly kind and think they're ridiculous or pathetic (he has trust issues and is disillusioned/doesn't believe in genuine kindness and uses hedonism as a coping mechanism).

Also the potential of Sasha crying and whimpering in Russian when he gets dicked down lovingly and called 'sweetheart' and 'angel' by Cliff, please I'm begging someone write this, I have too many WIPs to work on already, and praise kink Sasha will not leave my brain alone😫.
